Cleantech Commons partners with StrikeUP to support women entrepreneurs
StrikeUP provides a forum for growth, mentorship and financing for women entrepreneurs.
With our vision of becoming Canada’s leading hub for green technology collaboration, discovery, innovation, and entrepreneurship, Cleantech Commons at Trent University is working to inspire young women entrepreneurs of tomorrow through our partnership with StrikeUp 2023.
The goal of StrikeUP 2023 is to advance women’s economic empowerment, grow the number of women-owned Canadian businesses, build capacity within the entrepreneurship ecosystem, and close gaps in service and support for women entrepreneurs. Register for free here!
“As part of a suite of value-adding services, Cleantech Commons provides aspiring entrepreneurs with access to mentorship, funding opportunities, business expertise and networks, collaborative co-working spaces, and shared labs, as well as commercialization expertise for researchers,” says Martin Yuill, Cleantech Commons executive director.

A key focus of Cleantech Commons is supporting current and aspiring women entrepreneurs in the fast-growing global clean technology sector.

The theme of StrikeUP 2023 is ‘Growing Forward’ – supporting women entrepreneurs through critical milestones in their entrepreneurial journey.
